Chirag Bharati, AMFT

Hi, I am C.B.

“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness." It is my belief that care should not only be individualized but also involve the individual, healthy coping skills, and a social support system that can help him/her/them progress towards a happier future.

Working with individuals and families has given me great insight into how family systems and our overall environment immensely impact us as humans. It is my mission to utilize invaluable experience in trauma-informed care and knowledge about therapeutic modalities to help clients with short-term care and long-term management of mental health symptoms.

I am dedicated to helping clients build a toolkit filled with tools and strategies that promotes welfare, encourages selfcare, and decreases distress that will lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Let's create together an individualized game plan that works for you and your needs. If you are here, you are courageous.

Elba Esquivel, AMFT, APCC

At times life may bring some challenges, and we may need a little help in dealing with those challenges. It takes courage to take the first steps towards reaching out and asking for help. I am here to support and encourage you in that journey. As an Associate Therapist, I work with my clients to manage stress, anxiety, depression, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, and more. I work to create an open and safe environment where my clients can share their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the California State University of Fullerton and my Master's in Marriage, Family, and Children Therapy from the University of Phoenix.

At times we may feel really vulnerable or afraid to reach out for help. I am here to assist in making that process a bit easier for you. You can e-mail or call me to learn more about what therapy may look like for you.

Brenda Acevedo, AMFT

Welcome! Bienvenidos!

My name is Brenda Acevedo, and I am a Bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I have worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and life stressors. In addition, I have worked with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victims of crime. Since each client has unique experiences, I view them as the experts in their own lives and work with them to give them the support and resources they need to build on their strengths and seek growth.

I use a strength-based approach when providing therapy. To assist clients in building coping skills and managing emotions and stressful events, I commonly use principles and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, MAP, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play therapy for children.

My goal as a therapist is to create a warm, empathetic therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I aim to foster strong therapeutic relationships, collaboratively working with clients to explore their unique experiences, challenges, and aspirations. I hope to empower clients, promoting their autonomy and resilience while maintaining the highest ethical standards. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to individuals' well-being and personal growth, facilitating meaningful and lasting transformations in their lives.

I'm here to offer a secure space where you can freely express yourself. Please feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation at bacevedo@catarsys.org
